So I know most people have subscribed to my YouTube channel for the builds... but... episode 2 of The Golden Years Let's Play is on the way.
Don't worry... I'll be doing more speed builds and other videos too.

I don't think most of your subscribers have subscribed for your build videos. Maybe they did at the beginning, but you've got many LP episodes as well and I think quite a few people subscribed because of those. Don't 'limit' yourself or do only what people might expect
Aww thank you, Diana! I read this in bed overnight & felt warm and fuzzy. 
I definitely don't limit myself, or else these LPs wouldn't be here afterall! heheh But the new LP lead to a mass subscriber exodus. 
So I just wanted to say the builds will be coming too.

I'm not sure it's your new LP that caused the exodus. Lots of people have lost subscribers because YT has been deleting spam accounts or whatever

No of course one can never be sure but it has happened time and time again, so I have a pretty good idea. I knew about the spam account closure, that accounted for a significant portion of it & was noticeable. But thanks Diana, I understand your message & appreciate it.
