@SenileSimmer I thought it was PB fudge at first :) Now you're making me wish it was later in November so I can start my Christmas baking!!
hehe! I didn't know PB fudge was such a big thing over there. I don't mind PB but have had mostly plain fudge over the last few years so I just wanted to try making it myself. Would be easy to change to PB or chocolate or whatever. I guess for some things I have simple tastes.

hehe! My first thought was "what is a plain fudge?" Last year, I made fudge for the 1st time, PB, and everybody loved it. PB & choc are the flavors our parents bought us when we were young so I think buying them as adults reminds us of home and family.

Well you have probably googled it now but it's just butter, condensed milk, and sugar.
I'd have put some golden syrup in too if I could but they don't sell it here in France. Definitely had chocolate fudge when I was a kid too but PB isn't a big thing like that in NZ. - Show replies
