If Gordon Ramsey saw this plate, he will tell you to wipe your plate. After watching HK and MasterChef for ages, I have a mini version of him in my mind and I do that involuntarily.

If you're serving for yourself, it doesn't matter. It's just splashes from placing the food, not deliberate art.
