I think there's all different factors at play. So what works - or doesn't - for one person might not apply to someone else. We all make our LPs differently + who we are as a person are just a couple of the factors that influence how an LP will go. 
But yes I am interested to see how they go for you and of course I wish you the best of luck with them. My LPs have a smaller audience in comparison to my speed builds but they are loyal and leave lovely comments. It's win:win for me, I reckon, even if they're not super popular!
