Well it's from the game Diablo and I kinda think it's funny though I would never name my own cat that. I love being able to say... "This is Rodney... who was once known as Mephisto, Lord of Hatred." It actually still says that on his French pet passport.

Must admit that I named one of my black cats Lussi, after Lucifer
She was so angry when I first got her, constantly attacking me. I had patients with her, and now she’s the most normal of the three of them. Love her to bits! -
Right. I never felt it was a reflection on him or his personality: he has become ever more warm & friendly as time has gone on. I just think it's a funny little story & obviously so contrasting to how he really is. It gives him this kinda secret grandness, if you see what I mean!
