You know what this is leading up to, though, right? @SimGuruGrant is going to do a poll with University, Witches, Mermaids, and Farming and my poor Farming is going to be the loser.

Absolutely! It's only really been touched on before. Yet so many farming-focused games have a lot in common with Sims. I think it could have quite a broad appeal. It'd be an opportunity for some interesting gameplay: not just harvest/sell but lots of ideas to make it more fun
