Why do I get meow meow meow when she doesn’t get fed in the morning and still has dry food? This was an hour before my alarm...

My cats do the same, especially the 20 year old. They want attantion, or new food (not the food / snacks they already have in their bowls)
Yeah I sometimes think he just wants "new" food - but he doesn't tend to leave it there long enough for it to go stale. I don't know. It's a little frustrating. But I get back to sleep fast enough.

My cats have dry food available all the time, but they love their wet food a little too much. I think they just want my attention a lot of the time too. I try to ignore the 3 AM yowls

I should make a more concerted effort to not respond to him at night. Because he does tend to learn things eventually. But no I can't leave dry food out all the time as he doesn't know when to stop, he just eats it all.
