Was just talking with my parents about this last weekend. This helps people understand why events like the Indy 500 were run without fans in the stands. Sounds like it was the right thing to do.

Certainly the safest, although being indoors without masks has been proving far worse than outdoors with them.

Herd immunity happens when 60-70% of the population has established immunity, either through getting the disease or through vaccination. We don't have a vaccine. So far we're at about 2%, with almost 190,000 deaths. Only 5.5 million deaths to go! (Please tell me you get this.)
