If you’re math oriented there are lots of references available for how to infer the number of cases now from how many people died today, which is x% of the number of actual cases 17.2 days ago - then work forward with y% more actual cases each day, to the present. 1/

Imagine ppl w/confirmed COVID-19 cases have been out&about in the community, hosting welcome homes, etc. it’s only been ~2wks ppl have been taking COVID-19 seriously in US &there’s still ppl who think it’s no big deal. Wish they’d share where ppl have been in town
