What the Power Generators Association won't tell you is that there are already 20+ large scale energy projects underway in NH. Appox 1GW(!) of power. These projects will sell outside of NH to benefit other ratepayers if NH doesn't ask for a proposal. Why not ask? #NHpolitics

SB 54, which gas lobby opposes, would give NH PUC the authority to negotiate long term power contracts if the PUC found the contracts were in the interest of the NH ratepayer. If the PUC doesn't find value for NH ratepayer, no contract. Why would gas lobby oppose? #NHpolitics

I paid $500 dollars for natural gas to heat my home last month. We keep the thermostat at 64 degrees. I also paid $250 for electricity. $750 dollars in energy costs for a modest house in #MHT. And the gas lobbyist wants to tell us that the markets are working? Uh-huh. #NHpolitics
