Wow, great job! How did you arrive at 10-bit characters? With 80 bits a more obvious choice would've been ten 8-bit characters.

You're right, that is one of the first things we tried, but the numbers did not line up with 8 bits. Then we saw the pattern I was talking about with three zeroes every 10 bits.
