Athens taught me how to walk not just with my feet but with all my senses, pausing to peer at the past, smell the bitter oranges, hear the drum of the crowds and touch the smooth marble facades. It's a yearning that I try and satisfy annually.

Senator Romney reminds us that it is not impossible to do the right thing, it’s just hard. That putting country over party isn’t just a slogan, it’s our solemn obligation. That individuals who have courage and conviction can change history, and have an obligation to try.

"Corrupting an election process in a democratic republic is about as abusive and egregious an act against the Constitution—and one's oath—that I can imagine. It's what autocrats do." ~Mitt Romney

BREAKING: Sen. Mitt Romney: "The president is guilty of an appalling abuse of public trust." "Corrupting an election to keep oneself in office is perhaps the most abusive and destructive violation of one's oath of office that I can imagine."

Sen Collins reasons are ridiculous. A crime is NOT needed. Blame her own party for not calling Bolton. She personifies the intellectual corruption and cowardice of GOP

Large numbers of young educated Greeks moved abroad during the crisis. Most public discussions overstate the scale of the problem and oversimplify its causes, and this is leading to disappointing policy solutions.

Today is World Wetlands Day, as well as the 20th anniversary of the Prespa Transboundary Park. Established by Greece, Albania & North Macedonia, it was the first trilateral protected area in the Balkans at the time. Three countries - all seen in the image - two lakes, one future.
