This means either they use long press to reveal the same action (as with control centre), or the feature just isn’t available (home screen 3D touch widgets on iPad).

Apple could never find a way to make it work across the size of the iPads screen, or maybe it was always pressed hard when held in one hand. Given that Apple’s always had to find a non-3D touch way to implement 3D touch features, it was always likely to disappear, unless support grew to eventually supporting the entire iOS product range from iPod touch to iPad Pro (which hasn’t happened).
