I am shocked that 2 million people have seen that and 67k hit the like button. There's obvious misinformation in that video. The Anonymous people behind it either don't understand EV subsidies and supply chain or, and more worrying, they do and this is a hit job by fossil fuels.

They may or may not have a point about the crypto stuff, that's not my expertise, but it doesn't excuse spreading misinformation about electric vehicles and Tesla. They used sloppy and disingenuous arguments to make their point.

I'm very disappointed by using misinformation that the fossil fuel industry has been using for years against and .

Also, killed it in the episode. After his role was a non speaking mma fighter for first part, I thought well it was a very specific casting, almost Easter egg, but then he gets a bunch of lines & if you don’t know who he is you’d think he has been acting as a career.

Obviously doesn’t take away from the show’s goal to entertain. I’m liking it and I would recommend if you haven’t watched. Congrats to the team and

HBO’s Hacks screwed up in latest episode and made a gag where the main character “hit the gas” by mistake on a Chevy Bolt EV and makes the “engine” rev up. Funny that they get an EV on the show (good for them) but don’t know how it works and even work that into the script.

If Tesla is not discounting, I assume that they plan to retrofit it later on. In short, the situation is no big deal, but the lack of communication from Tesla has made it a bigger one.

A source at BMW says that they are having the same issue, but at least they are issuing a discount for the feature lacking.

Update on this. It looks like other automakers are having the same issue so most likely it is due to part shortage and not Tesla deciding to remove the feature.

In short, Tim caricatured Tesla owners into a ridiculous version of themselves that should be shot (obviously joking), but some people saw themselves so much in the caricature that they took offense. Comedic gold. Learn to take a joke.

What's actually incredible about this is that Tesla owners complaining about it are actually making Tim's point. If you actually feel threatened, you have too much of your identity wrapped up into being a Tesla owner. There's the truth of the joke, not owners deserving death.

I can't believe anyone could listen to Tim and not only take anything he says seriously but feel threatened enough by it to write an article about it. This is actually hilarious.

It's not clear when the fix is going to be available but it's going to be both at the factory and also from the service team throughout the country. The longer it takes, the crazier the logistical challenges are going to get.

A scoop: between 10,000 and 20,000 Tesla vehicles on containment hold due to part supply issue. It's going to be another crazy end-of-quarter:

Both technologies need cleaner grids, but electric cars have the advantage to already be much more efficient than ICE. That's not the case for Bitcoin.

I see lots of people having this take. It's funny, but it's flawed. No disrespect, I like , but regardless of energy source, Bitcoin is currently less efficient than regular banking transactions. That's not the same for electric vehicles vs gas-powered cars.
