I went to Federal Prison in January 1997 (Alderson, WV) and was told I would be back, because once you start, it's a revolving door. I was told my life was over at 23. I am now an author and filmmaker (a struggling one) but I am. And I've never been back.

Every single day I wake up. Starting as a cashier at bk, to server to dishwasher to work up to sous chef, to now a personal chef to a nba player. Co workers and family never believed in me. Always told I’m only good to clean up after the male chefs and that I’m nothing

This is v mild but I always check my customers eggs for them after I scan them & this one snooty white lady that wouldn’t bag her own groceries said “WELL I ALREADY CHECKED THEM!!” Opened that hoe up and there was 2 broken eggs. Sis didn’t say another word & I killed her with

Why would someone get uppity about their cashier making sure they don't walk out with a bunch of busted eggs? I always appreciate it when people check even though I've already done it. It's called good customer service.

While in nursing school, my boss at the hospital where I worked told me she didn’t know why I was going to nursing school, I would never make it. When I finished nursing school, I applied for nursing supervisor, got the job, and became her boss. She quit soon after.
