Margaret Mitchell asks Lord Advocate why he imposed upon the Scottish Parliament "more stringent restrictions than for The Spectator". ie: why can a magazine publish Salmond's full evidence against Sturgeon but the Scottish Parliament cannot?

Lord Advocate says he identified problems in what Salmond said. But when Spectator went to the High Court, the Crown Office raised no objections to what we published. So Mitchell's question stands: why the double standards? Why special restrictions for Parliament's investigation?

The whole system is rotten to the core. UK Govt should fundamentally restructure holyrood and all the devolved institutions to improve accountability, also fix the civil service which has clearly been captured and misused by the snp regime.
