I have been saying it forever. Ultimately, it's only the time of the "masters" that is "money," while the rest of us evidently have all the time in the world to waste. It's ok for us to wait on the phone while the robot is going thru options, or to spend our time on training AI.

Seems like all complex theories about it can be reduced to good ol' disrespect for the mortal humans who have not established their super dominance, and therefore can be sacrificed or abused. Actually, being forced to waste time has a psychological (and biological) effect.

And also, one has to realize that robo-conversations will do to oral language what SEO has already done to written language. People will mimic machines! Actual humans will start talking like dumb robot chatterboxes. All because some headless genius wanted to train AI. :(

Seems a reasonable POV. But don't we all have the right to employ the same methods, with the same level of 'personal attention' in dealing with our suppliers & service providers as they do with us?
