Do you have slack on your phone? If yes, do you "check out" after work or stay connected
I use Slack and it doesn’t destroy my CPU/RAM. I close tabs and have minimal open. I run an inbox zero. My desktop’s have nothing on them. AMA.

Slack is on my phone but I have at least one slack that isn’t cybersecurity related and is for auto detailing. I rarely use my phone slack. I stay disconnected pretty well. My home PC only has me in BTC slack and that auto detailing one. All others are work PC only.

I have. Or I just don’t actively have them connected to Slack. So I can login every several months if I want to but it’s not present every day.

Treat it like your to do. If you’ve interacted with the email and there is no further follow up, it gets deleted or foldered. If you want retention, just don’t empty your deleted items.
