The migration of the DTCC Trade Information Warehouse (TIW) database to a DLT platform is scheduled for May 2019. Here is the link to download the fact sheet: http://www.dtcc.com/~/media/Files/Downloads/Settlement-Asset-Services/DerivSERV/TIW-Replatforming.pdf … #IBMBlockchain #cryptocurrency #DLT #XLM #Stellar #blockchainpic.twitter.com/sYNLqFMXay

http://www.dtcc.com/news/2017/january/09/dtcc-selects-ibm-axoni-and-r3-to-develop-dtccs-distributed-ledger-solution … I believe this is IBM's R3 parnership and will be using XRP not XLM

I am a fan of both XLM & XRP. I understand some of you are heavily invested in just one project. I am just presenting the facts here. The DTCC fact sheet said settlement is done via CLS. The R3 Corda Settler is another settlement option for DTCC to use. Always diversify!!!

I dont believe this has anything to do with com at all to be honest. Also "diversifying is for people who are un sure of their investments. It's only to hedge against ignorance." -warren buffet.

You would have a different reaction if CLS was replaced with the words "R3 Corda Settler". 😀 DTCC is replacing their mainframe system with DLT. Guess who made mainframes?? Hint, IBM. IBM has been in business for over 100 yrs which means they have influential contacts in finance.

you know that linux foundation made hyperledger right? not IBM. and there is just as much work done on it by ripple and R3 as their is IBM. also for the fact that Corda is mentioned but XLM as a payment settler isn't makes me think XLM has nothing to do with the settlement.

I do have first hand knowledge about certain things if you haven't figured it out by now. Hyperledger has 3 membership tiers. Premier, General and Associate. IBM is a Premier member and Ripple is a General member.
