Yes - and average for time of year (compare with baseline for flu) and not increasing over and above what would be expected seasonally.
The evidence is clear to see by most people, not in a government induced panic, the impact of Covid 19 is not remarkably sufficient to warrant the crazy never before used measures. The government are lying to and harming people blatantly: this is the most worrying aspect.
