Elsewhere in the news, I am impressed over the number of really successful blockchain projects written in #erlang and #elixir

Surprised that such few number of Erlang based projects in coin space since many of them claim performance and scalability but don't use Erlang. Have to assume their team are more of genius than Erlang team, or perhaps their development are more "cost ineffective".

To be fair, when blockchains discuss scalability, they don't mean "of the implementation" but rather of "the theory behind the chain"

Maybe. Be honest I am yet to spend time studying chain's theory. I did speak from implementaion aspect. I love Erlang so much based on my own experience.

My tweet referred to blockchain, not crypt currencies.

Ah, the chain part is a different story. Erlang fits that part well.
