@FrancescoC @E_E_ depends on where you're roaming, if the provider you're on has agreement with your home provider and has GRX connectivity
Am I the only one with an IPhone who has issues when roaming? Have had no service for days. @E_E_ is blaming apple! Not sure I believe them.

@henrythor Not the issue as I am in the eu. Works at times and then stops for days. -
@FrancescoC different operators within EU need to have roaming agreements and setup connectivity amongst each other, I work for an EU oper -
@henrythor I would guess all Italian operators have such an agreement in place, especially if the service is working intermittently. -
@FrancescoC the intermittent thing could be phone hopping between an operator that works and one that doesnt.. -
@henrythor I have had no service for the last two days. Operator blaming it on the iPhone! They are helpful but clueless -
@FrancescoC I doubt it's the handset.. handsets can be locked to home plmn, but not vplmn afaik

@francescoc I had a similar problem with 3 heading to Paris last weekend. Turning off auto selection and manually selecting a carrier worked -
@john_swaine did not work. Also reset the networks on the sim. Are you on@E_E_ ? -
@francescoc Nah I'm on 3. It took a while for a manually selected carrier to work though, at first I assumed it just wasn't going to. -
@john_swaine That was a well knows iPhone issue a couple of years ago. Mine however worked all along until this trip.
