@francescoc using it indirectly with rebar, think it would be nice to understand it a bit more esp. the updates part ;)

@heinz_gies you don't like me ;) -
@francescoc Ah well no, actually to be honest I just don't get upgrades and found the documentation that exists hard to understand ;) -
@heinz_gies explaining SW upgrades will be our next challenge. Need to get releases out of the way. -
@francescoc :) but yea I find releases important even w/o updates it's something special to Erlang and can has big advantages -
@heinz_gies will send you what we have as soon as we are done. -
@francescoc :D I'll give it a spin and try out to make a update for the@project_fifo components, would be fun! -
@heinz_gies I was talking about release handling. SW upgrades will take a few weeks. - 1 more reply

@FrancescoC Hi, I'm reading your new book. Is there a way to send you feedback? Eg, most of code excerpts cannot be read (out of margins). -
@heruman_ Would love it. francesco at erlang-solutions. Code excerpts, etc, will be handled later as it is still in early access.
-
@FrancescoC BTW, I mentioned code excerpts because it makes the book really hard -almost impossible- to follow (bad even for early access). -
@heruman_ Ok, point out the ones you are struggling with, will have a look.

@FrancescoC I never fully understood reltool, but have used systools:make_* extensively. Under Windows, too boot :-) -
@FrancescoC I've never has issues with managing dependencies explicitly for building a release. Writing up/downgrade code is much harder ;-) -
@rtraschke you will in that case be the one tweeting respect when I start on the upgrade chapter this week.

@FrancescoC a decent chapter on reltool needs to be written. -
@llaisdy it would be a section in what is already a long and complicated chapter.
