@carlosjgf The softwitch is one part of the puzzle. The distributed controller is another part:https://github.com/FlowForwarding/loom … -
@FrancescoC I know! Just saying that, IMHO, the controller part seems to be much better suited for Erlang. -
@carlosjgf Agree. Also doing the switch, however, has given us speed to market and a test bed for OF and the controller. -
@FrancescoC In that case I fully agree. BTW, we are developing a distributed IaaS/PaaS hybrid focused on SDN/NFV, based on NkSIP

@akohli@darachennis Referring to Erlang on Xen. -
@FrancescoC@akohli Rise of the JEOS (Just Enough Operating System) seems to be gaining in popularity more and more... -
@darachennis@FrancescoC we had it with bea and minimal linux vms. But erlang makes it more minimal. -
@akohli@darachennis Quoting@stu_bailey "#LINCX is on dynamically & remotely programmable CPU based Ethernet processing. No ASICs, No NPUs" -
@FrancescoC@darachennis@stu_bailey marketing. Bless. I have a silver bullet here.
