Last night, we were woken up the the sounds of Ziggy's outdoor squeaky ball outside our bedroom window. But Ziggy was in his bed. A bit unnerved, we peeked outside and it turns out a possum was playing with or trying to eat it. So scary to so cute. Ziggy for reference

Had a great time working in the fish collection at Scripps Institution of Oceanography for a couple days this week. Many thanks to for the hospitality! Here's a ridiculously cool cleared and stained Idiacanthus I examined while there.

Nestled appropriately in 's 'Oddities' exhibit, a Pacific is now on display through April 24. "Giving people the opportunity to see it in person, in front of them, I think is really valuable," Scripps' Ben told .
