    The Twelfth Day of so tonight is . We can take down our decorations today, or leave them up if we want to celebrate Epiphany. Now preparing an Epiphany Homily on how we cannot appreciate light unless we also know .

    On the 11th Day of we are reminded that it's best to share good thoughts and good news with others rather than keeping them to ourselves. So Andrew (as in the picture) meets and immediately goes to share this with his brother. How easily we just share our moans.

    Another bodge by . Discovered the faulty phone line was because some wires were left bare when they were put in. First they crackled & then over Christmas they failed. The houses may look good, but have many hidden faults. How can they claim to be good ?

    Today is the 9th Day of . Strictly speaking Christmas decorations stay up until 12th Night which is the 5th Jan, although many argue you can keep them up to celebrate Epiphany on the 6th. Some even till Candlemas on Feb 2nd. The shops want us to think it is Easter!

    Until 1753 today would have been the 12th Jan in the but then they reluctantly conformed with Europe who had changed it almost 200 years earlier so the fact that 2019 starts today is totally artificial. So may I wish you all a Happy and Blessed 8th Day of !
