I had no idea getting the XT-IDE working was going to be so difficult. I thought I'd solder it together, plug it in, and BAM: instant HD!
It only took the entire day but now I have a SSD hard drive inside my IBM PC 5150! Big thanks to @ne1for23 for making a 360k boot disk!pic.twitter.com/UNewcswkqq

I really need to add an LED for HD access somewhere. Maybe change the red LED in one of the floppies with a bicolor one?

Remove DRVSPACE.BIN from the boot floppy and reformat. I'm not sure how
