Basically it used to be get 10k views on your channel you're eligible for monetisation. Now it's changing to you have to have 4k hours of watch time over the past 12 months and at least 1k subs on your channel to earn money.
Hey @YouTube @TeamYouTube after reading the new partner programme luckily it doesn't affect me but for new channels looking to make a name for themselves and to earn a little bit of money the new guidelines are unfair and harsh. You are damaging your platform heavily

If you used to pass the guidelines but fail to pass the new ones you'll be removed from the partner programme until you reach the new ones
