Yeah - I'm confused...he's saying the investigation was sham because they didn't find anything...ie didn't do what they wanted? Or the whole thing was a shame (it was - and I doubt Ari would admit as much).

I think he’s saying that if you write the conclusion to the investigation before actually meeting w/ the main target, that’s a concern. If you claim no DOJ involvement, but find out there was, also concerning. If the lead investigator had a dog in the hunt, also concerning. Fair?
