You've got this one item completely wrong in my opinion.. that is that Amazon is the culprit.. that is in my opinion a huge lie because if you look at brick-and-mortar sales they are 90% of all total sales only 10% is online...

What this means is that the 90% is failing. What I think is going on is that over the last 20 30 40 years American jobs have been offshored to other countries thereby they have less income to buy in the store in the first place.this is a much much deeper problem than just Amazon

No apocalypse! Just evolution.. the dinosaurs couldn't adapt to changing shopping environment so they're dying. A lot of those stores alienated big segments of shoppers with political statements and by insulting and refusing to sell plus-sizes (Abercrombie, etc.)

Back in 1999, a friend went to a seminar, when he returned he told us that the only way you can shop will be on-line. So to me this is old news but it took them almost 20 years to even start.
