Wish more medical schools would follow or at least reduce their costs. Most schools are $50k plus living costs on top of that as I know my daughter is just applying

I would venture to say that 90% of the med students come from the top 10% of wealth income. Just another case of rewarding the wealthy endowed students rather than those that can least afford college because they are seeking technical/ engineering degrees.
