WA State has the most regressive tax system in the country – this is a huge victory. Thank you to the WA Supreme Court for carefully looking at the constitutionality of this issue and I hope this opens the door for progressive tax policies moving forward.

Momentous achievement: My Health My Data Act just passed the floor of the Washington House of Representatives.
57 Members voted to provide Washingtonians real control over their health data, and to protect reproductive health info from being shared wo consent.

Rep. @SlatterVandana, the bill's sponsor, notes that HIPAA protetions don't apply when you share health information on a web site, app, or searchers.
#MyHealthMyData addresses that. It's taken on increased urgency with the overturning of Roe v. Wade. #AbortionJustice

Hold on: House Republicans want a national 30% sales tax on everything from groceries to gasoline? They want to raise taxes on working-class & middle-class families while slashing them for millionaires & billionaires?
Are they TRYING to show exactly how out of touch they are?
