    We've pushed hard for the Emissions Reduction Plan to cut emissions AND protect nature. The ERP is a high-stakes chance to finally get the nature/economy right. The environment isn't a 'nice to have'. It's the basis for everything else. 1/2

    A lone trap-shy ferret has killed 16 of 21 tītī chicks at Irahuka in the Catlins 😰 Our volunteers & staff are gutted, after spending months monitoring the fluffy chicks. This tragic news highlights the need for more investment to achieve

    52 new pōpokotea whiteheads were welcomed at Bushy Park Tarapuruhi, a Forest & Bird predator-free native forest and wildlife sanctuary, this week. Found only in NZ, we hope these ancient birds will create a thriving population in their new home.
