EXCLUSIVE: The U.S. Air Force will need a nearly 25 percent boost in combat squadrons to support a major war with another great power such as China or Russia, signaling the largest potential increase in air power for the U.S. since the end of the Cold War.https://buff.ly/2xhgPy1

With Russia “OR” China, not BOTH. And the increase in funds needed for that boost doesnt include everything else the military want funding for. U.S spends more than both Russia & China combined & cant keep up military wise? Wow! My 5yr old can spend money more efficiently.

Do you know we call it “spoils of war” when someone wins a war and take any resources they can? Because wars are for resources. If you ever think any power goes to war because they want to police the globe of because terrorism then you’d be dead wrong.

This crazy, does the government of the USA not understand that people need jobs and health care plus infrastructure renewal? Is the only they can do is to make war? What about the people, what about their needs? Keep this up and you will bankrupt yourselves.

Combined with all the things USN and US Army are asking for, before too long the Pentagon budget will easily exceed $1 trillion.

Out of curiosity, who's paying to train the Saudi pilots that are trained by our military?

Honestly, would anyone really rather see China or Russia with the world’s superior military? Of course not.

I would say that to justify such increase you need to create an enemy, first.
