  4. Orlando Police Department's former "officer of the year" has been arrested and charged for 2014 incident in which he allegedly raped a man with his finger as a "search." At the time, he denied penetrating the man's body. He man was let go without charges.

  5. A man who the government falsely imprisoned for 15 years after a 9-hour interrogation led to a “confession” of rape/murder (exonerated in 2012 after DNA evidence showed he was in innocent) has died of COVID after 9 free years. He was never compensated.

    This is interesting because a local Proud Boys leader told the group from the stage at an event in Portland to show up. On January 6, Proud Boys were present in massive numbers, but intentionally didn't wear their usual outfits to obscure their group ID.

    Derek Chauvin has pleaded not guilty to federal charges he violated a teenager's civil rights in an arrest where he allegedly used unreasonable force against a 14-year-old boy in 2017. This is separate from George Floyd.
