The alleged Chinese Communist spy who is also a now-suspended NYPD officer has pled not guilty to espionage charges that could land him 55 years in prison.

But beyond the lunacy of the NYPD’s hardline stance against the American constitution, it is actually pretty laughable. Their claim is like suggesting that if you didn’t go to NYU, you’re not college-educated, and if you’re not on the Yankees, you don’t play baseball.

This tweet is basically meaningless. I am credentialed by the White House and Congress and I wear those two credentials, even when I film demonstrations in New York City. Saying that someone isn’t press because they don’t have an NYPD pass is nakedly absurd.

One driver actually had a GOP elephant statue in his truck - which had the words "defend freedom on it" - in addition to about a dozen Trump flags.

The supporters mostly drove in clusters taking up a single lane at a time with their hazard lights on. This was the inner loop, essentially heading clock-wise around the nation's capital.

Today hundreds of Trump supporters held a "Trump 2020 Capital Beltway Caravan" decorating their vehicles with Trump gear and driving the full circle of the beltway - approximately 64 miles in a loop around Washington DC. Here's some of what I filmed from a bridge in Bethesda.

This is the video itself. For some reason or another, Facebook has taken the position that viewers should not be as able to share videos of riot police arresting activists during election season.

I just posted a video of police arresting protesters onto Facebook. When I went to share it into a group (it's a group for supporters/friends of 's Fifth Column network) I got banned from "complex entities interactions" until Dec29. Reporting the error yielded an error.

Just an interesting moment from right before the first tweet in this thread: Here's the moment Lieutenant Bagshaw entered the kettled in area and actually gave instructions to officers. His plan was to use four-man teams to make arrests. "Four people per person" he said.

As police evaluated the eggs on the station I jokingly said "think it'll hold?" Lt Bagshaw asked if he can "get the footage" and I told him to watch it online like everyone else. When I told him I was pointed at the station - not the protesters throwing - he said "of course."

Protesters accused a cop in a squad car of running over someone's foot. Police pushed the crowd back, deploying mace at just shy of 30 seconds into this clip. They then fell back to focus on a perimeter around the arrest van.

As the person chased was arrested, bike cops who closed in behind went to arrest someone behind them. I didn't catch the beginning of this arrest but I did hear a callout of "Get on the ground" before I looped around to film that, and then was pushed back behind a fence.

"Right there! Get him! Get him! Get him!" Lt. Bagshaw called out from the police station porch. A approximately 3-block long foot-chase ensued. I admit I did not film especially well while rushing, but you can see the arrest itself about a minute into this clip.

Officers fell back into the station after all the people were apprehended that had been pointed out. I should have noted earlier, this is the District 4 police station in Washington DC. Apologies for not putting the city in the first tweet. I'm tired.

Lt. Baghaw bear-hugged a guy, who were arrested as a shield formation came around him. As a fight broke out between activists on one side of the formation and cops, one tried to run away. We were all still in a kettle, so that wasn't possible. Officers grabbed him at the corner
