One arrestee called for help, and activists attempted to block the cops leaving with them. Police - including one with a rifle - charged at those activists and pushed through them, arresting one or two more.pic.twitter.com/eg8Xv36Awm

After those few were arrested, a National Lawyers Guild
@NLGnews member tried to get the names of the arrestees. An officer physically pushed him back. I should note that I'm happy to give access to raw video to NLG or arrestee's lawyers. PM's are open.pic.twitter.com/iZaGDrq9h7Prikaži ovu nit -
Two more were arrested, and one fell over as they were being walked away. Four cops carried them out as they yelled "help me!"pic.twitter.com/5yZMbwzT9Q

Police ultimately closed off the stairs from where I got this shot, but I was briefly able to capture how enormous this crowd was.pic.twitter.com/ZnLf09ByWT

"How do you spell racist? NYPD!" chanted the crowd as they left and began their march in the streets.pic.twitter.com/Oq7BAX0Z4q

Some activists went into 42nd street's subway stop, and police forced their way in to drop a barricade. "Back the fuck up!" yelled an officer. Some started to go into Bryant park. "You ain't coming in my fucking park with no signs" demanded another officer.pic.twitter.com/qIDrBdpKsG

Dozens made it into another station entrance, and either hopped or went through the emergency door. A handful of cops rushed in after them, and they barricaded the place behind them. My understanding is they made it onto trains without arrest.pic.twitter.com/hBSAsTTU1L

The group tried to go into Penn station but were physically blocked at two entrances there as well, and kept moving. After that, some of them got split up. My coverage has a gap of about an hour during which I was with maybe 20 activists who lost the group until Brooklyn.pic.twitter.com/1cSH7LDqTH

In Brooklyn, things seemed pretty tame to me. About a hundred were marching chanting "FTP, fuck the police" when for some reason, a cop deployed mace ahead. Everyone ran backwards, and then began chanting "Shame! Shame!" I didn't see the mace myself or what exactly motivated it.pic.twitter.com/yiwJVq10Og

The activists wanted to get back into Manhattan to do jail support for their arrested comrades from earlier, and went into the Utica Station. A line of cops blocked them. After a stalemate, cops announced people could swipe to get in, or get arrested if they didn't leave.pic.twitter.com/7s3OSzPqGj
