So I want to consult the Twitter hive mind: people already contact me to license footage of news *events.* Do any particular shots I’ve posted seem especially fit for stock footage sites, where the content is impressive but fairly generic? Happy to take suggestions/ideas.

Pond5 has a emerging news archive category. FilmSupply has a rep based system and perhaps can build out a custom category for you. Getty Video and AP Video could also be interested in licensing some of your clips (especially events of note like Charlottesville).

Thanks for this suggestion! I’m setting up a Pond5 now while my application there processes.

Jobs with bosses are for chumps. Also they are for paying rent on time. I do neither. So, awesome!

I realized the same thing. Have never been happier than I do now, with me being my only real boss.
