I want to continue my campaign of embarrassing/criticizing @TeamYouTube until they reverse their decision to delete some videos on my channel and demonetize it all.
Retweet this thread to show the world that @YouTube wants to deny history of tragedies.https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbBm6SZ235HFxwVKC7Po5IA …

It is my opinion, that I will argue in this thread, that Youtube is violating two of their own key policies. "some videos could remain up because they... provide analysis of current events" they say, but fail. They also deny history. Continue reading this thread.pic.twitter.com/dVOoUMjQ1F

"The other Fischer video removed featured comments from neo-Nazi Mike Enoch in a speech introducing Richard Spencer to a crowd of white nationalists at the Lincoln Memorial," reports
@commondreams. Let's talk about why that matters.https://www.commondreams.org/news/2019/06/06/journalist-and-educator-among-those-caught-youtubes-latest-attempt-purge-online-hate …1 reply 1 retweet 4 likesShow this thread -
On July 25, 2017, I believe Charlottesville's
#A12 became much closer to inevitable. The video@TeamYouTube removed of "Mike Enoch" was part of a bigger story that@aletweetsnews and I worked hard on.http://news2share.com/start/2017/06/26/fractured-alt-right-holds-competing-dc-rallies-amid-counter-protests/ …1 reply 2 retweets 4 likesShow this thread -
This story was the lead-up to a tragedy. A death at the hands of a white nationalist. Here's what one part of it looks like because of Youtube. They are denying history. When people look back on this political moment, they'll see a nice big hole where Youtube decided to step in.pic.twitter.com/n7NiQaHIBe

“I mean, if you meet Jack Posobiec, Mike Cernovich, they’re liars, they’re con-artists, they’re freaks,” Richard Spencer told me there. This rally represented a divide. The concept of "Unite the Right" in Charlottesville was to bring together the alt-right, alt-light, and MAGA.pic.twitter.com/C28b1GyJdA

That vision that Spencer has was basically thwarted that day when Jack Posobiec dropped off the roster of the June 25 event because of Spencer being on it. Posobiec held his own rally simultaneously and a mile away. Spencer's had racialized language. Posobiec's didn't.pic.twitter.com/RWRPaQZtF7

At end of Enoch's speech, he introduces Spencer. This footage of the Spencer speech has made it into an Emmy-winning documentary by
@Deeyah_Khan by the way. At the end, he tells everyone to come to Charlottesville on A12, because it'll be "a lot of fun."https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFn2B00Pka4 …1 reply 0 retweets 3 likesShow this thread -
The division I just detailed shows why the "alt light" and conservatives largely didn't show up to "Unite the Right." There may be a few exceptions, but by that time, the "alt light" and conservatives knew it was an alt-right, white nationalist event. Then Heather lost her life

Ford Fischer Retweeted Susan Bro
"Censorship is always a slippery slope. We absolutely must NOT silence our journalists. A true democracy absolutely depends upon the citizens having access to facts.
@YouTube, please do better," said@SusanBro7 about my case. She's right.https://twitter.com/SusanBro7/status/1136599023727648772 …Ford Fischer added,

Heather didn't die so that Youtube could delete videos helping us understand how it happened. It didn't happen just because one person put their foot on the gas. Our history is more long and complicated than that.
Youtube, do better. It's about history. @TeamYouTube
