We should boycott YouTube and flood personal pages of the reporters and channels we like, and crowd fund the voices we want to be heard. At the very least we could use alternate sites like vimeo? Let's take the power from YouTube.

The real issue is that YouTube refuses to hire journalists and insists on relying on cheap algorithms. Human beings with a minimal amount of common sense can tell the difference between gaybashing and reports about gaybashers.

YouTube can't be bothered to hire a sufficiently sized team of editors to deal with these issues. They insist on being cheap and relying on algorithms.
