The reason to be in Dayton today, or Charlottesville on A12, or anything else is to understand the who, why and how. Why did this happen? Who was involved? If people got hurt, why? If not, what worked? How did the police act? Were they complicit? Were they the problem?

Ignoring these issues doesn’t make them go away. Documenting these situations as completely as possible serves purposes for people smarter than me. But to the issue of “spreading their message” no, I think the ideology of the KKK people today will be mostly an afterthought.
