we have price control (regulate) hospitals, pharmacies. prevent indefinite patent renewal, abuse of patent system, and limit the price on any life saving drug to a reasonable value and maybe give longer patents in those specific cases. Allow patients greater access (deregulate).

Duh! And the GOP keeps giving big pharma and health insurance companies, like most giant corporations of every industry, all the deregulation and tax breaks they want.

Exactly, Medicare for all is necessary, but we need to regulate the charges by Hospitals and pharma companies, without that we are hiding the bigger problem (as we currently hide behind insurance)
