While looking for a different video, I found this one from 4 years ago. They're storing analog audio on a floppy disk, using an unmodified floppy drive!

IIRC the drive may be unmodified, but they're using an entirely analogue drive controller to demodulate the audio and it's just so neat.

That's the video that inspired me to build this... which is still sitting unfinished on my workbench in the way, oops
