okay so while I can easily swap out CELs, CEPs seem to have different animation frames within them, so swapping unrelated CELs around will break, as they won't have the right frames

the zlib library has a contrib/blast directory with some code to decode the pkware data compression library format: github.com/madler/zlib/tr

if you go into a casino and then go into the F2 menu, you can order food. this game is so weird
