I wonder if anyone has made a scanner specialized for scanning VHS cases. The little lid won't close with them, and I'd have to destroy it to flatten it.

I forgot what video I'm capturing now, but it's got this guy, who I think is Balding American Simon Pegg, and this lady, who proves this is an 80s video.

I should probably mention that I'm pretty faceblind so you shouldn't pay any attention to me saying "this person looks like $otherperson!" because I have no idea what I'm making that determination on

hey IBM I really don't like the aesthetics of this VHS countdown over New York City, with the World Trace Centers in the center of the image

oh well, they didn't know, this was made in the 90s, it's not like they were intentionally making a 9-11... reference... OH GOD

anyway now that I gotta restart, here's that 9-11 intro. Feel free to insert it directly into your VHS-aesthetic horror game/video/whatever.

I don't know what the music is doing. it was 1991, and this was made for internal IBM employees. this is apparently the music they thought should be included on the "DON'T COPY THIS" warning

NEXT TAPE "Young People Ask: How Can I Make Real Friends?" this one isn't by IBM. I don't think, at least.

it was supposed to be episodes of The Wonder Years but instead it's Sit and be Fit

annoyingly the only reason I wanted to capture this tape was for the commercials but this is a show recorded off PBS... WHICH HAS NO COMMERCIALS

bad news: I slightly miscalculated the tape length and recorded 2 hours and 8 minutes of BLUE

but as soon as the intro finishes and we start into an ad for Maximum-Strength Tylenol Sinus, we cut again, and now we're watching American Movie Classics

ok so this film was played on PBS, so no commercials. But maybe at the end? let's see what plays after the movie... OH NO

ANYWAY I am not actually hugely familiar with the simpsons, especially early episodes, can someone tell me what episode this is?
