I'm still playing with my replacement OLED display for the Equate pregnancy tester. I was worried I wouldn't have enough bandwidth to do real time updates, but it turns out that 128x32 at 1bpp doesn't take much bandwidth at all.pic.twitter.com/zOzl4eHyHm

I put the original videos up on the internet archive in case you want to post them on somewhere or show them in a video/show/whatever and not be limited by twitter's video compression: https://archive.org/download/pregnancy_test_videos …

(the internet archive will generate derivative versions, but the .mp4 ones are the originals from my phone)

I simply love how committed are to this project. The pregnancy test reborn! Though now I think of it, has no one made a “smart” pregnancy tester yet. By smart I think The world means Wi-Fi + webapp + dubious privacy

So, uh...can we design a cheap reader box that uses strip tests, a photodiode, a couple LEDs, and a teensy for ladies in the maker community who would be interested in utilizing said device? Just asking for ya know...the ladies. Or is that out of scope?

it's out of scope for what I can do with it, but I've heard there are some other people already working on open source versions.
