This little fella was animated using my space switching tricks. The ball was in aim space, with the pivot on the ground. I used spring physics on the target, driven by the actions of the bug. He was so easy to animate!

Thanks! I've started planning a course on gameplay animation using the same format as the space switching course. Hope to have it done sometime next year.🤞
But no plans for live mentoring, mainly because I'm a wicked-shy introvert with social anxiety.😅

Oh man, Benn. Wish I knew. I’ve done guest lectures with a few places. I’m guessing it’s catching on as an overlap on top of existing pipelines at a minimum. I do know it’s getting easier to find candidates who know this way of working!

This is awesome Rich, I’d love to see a quick summarized talk of the methods that went into this on the course if you ever get some time. This is a great example of blending acting with the space switching techniques. Your thought process is unique. THX!

Thanks, and agreed this fella could make a good lecture vid. Maybe I’ll throw something together over Christmas break.
