Guess what lads. I fucked up. Water damage warnings flash on screen, I panic, winch myself up a steep slope, don't turn my wheels in time and... splash. I tip over, logs spill. Load lost and I am livid with myself. It's time for another rescue mission.

That fuel truck from earliers still kicking about so I hop in, drive over, do the winchy winchy again and rescue my big truck, giving it a nice top-up in the process. With luck, I'm actually fairly close to a log station, so I take a direct route, through some trees.

Lads, I got stuck, badly. Bad enough that I have the bright idea to disconnect the trailer, winch it out, then reattach it.

Lads.. I can't reattach it. Now I have a truck with half a log carrier and a truck with a half empty fuel carrier and no way to change them.

I scan the map and see yet another truck I discovered earlier. I christen it Neo, as it will be my digital saviour on this night. So same again, back to a garage, fix it, but this time I attach a trailer hitch for an articulated log carrier, which can have the biggest logs on it

It's all or nothing now. With "I need a hero" blasting in my head, I load it up with logs and carefully navigate the long way round. I go past the fuel station, refill. I hit a rock, take damage. I feather the throttle as I lean dangerously on a ridge...

I have a nightmare moment crossing a deep muddy puddle as my wheels slide ineffectively and the nearest winch point is a tree off to my side. Been here before havn't we? Well this time, my lovely little scout jeep comes in handy as I use it as an anchor point.

Approaching the saw mill, the game kicks in some thrashing metal music in anticipation of victory and as I unload the logs I feel genuine relief mixed with a real achievement. All that took almost 3 1/2 hours of tense driving, daring rescues and planning.
