Werewolves are REALLY tough to get right, ESPECIALLY as heroes. In the end, what drives werewolves are the potential that an attunement with our more bestial natures could lead to gifts (or horrors) that would make us more powerful, often in speed and strength.....

but at the cost of being somehow less civil, intelligent, and other more genteel aspects. The higher nobility of the wolf is never really played up enough as an aspect. The social, structured, collaborative, and clever aspects almost NEVER get played up and thats sad....

The lack of good werewolf movies (there are a plethora of good vampire movies for comparrison) is also a problem. There isnt enough to provoke imagination in that direction. Other than Altered Beast, whats the good Were-Game? Heck D&D has Were wolves, tigers, bears, boars....

but they seldom come up in play. FWIW, I think there is a market for it. But you'd have to do it carefully, and Id prolly do it like this... 1.) First of all, keep the werewolf idea of Nature Stewards from White Wolf and Lose EVERYTHING else.
