    Just over a week left to see the Art Gallery foyer exhibition of work by our fellow Friend Dot Adams. The pieces selected span a number of medium and include landscapes, a lovely outdoor portrait, and a fun commentary on other works. Some pieces are for sale.

    Cobbett turned 80 in May. It shares its birth year with the film adaptations of Wuthering Heights (Laurence Olivier), The Wizard of Oz, The Little Princess (Shirley Temple), Jamaica Inn, and Gone With The Wind.
