@YouTube confirms it is advertiser friendly. I stand by my work. It's a film review and the fact that YT keeps demonetizing creators is crazy. I'm recording a video response as well cause this really upset me.

The monetization icon is applied automatically before the video is even published. This actually allows you to upload as unlisted to get an early read on the status–if there’s a yellow icon, you ask the review team to take a look before publishing.

I uploaded the video August 24th. Once the copyright claim was removed, it was monetized. Fans from my Patreon watched the video while it was Unlisted and I had no issue with demonetization. The minute I made it public it was deemed not advertiser friendly.

How can Youtube have automated programs decide if people are going to make earnings from their video or not? Why not have a human confirm it before it is deemed not advertiser friendly. And why isn't there more transparency as to what is inappropriate about the video?
